So this is my second day on the road without my computer. The fever and chills from withdrawal have subsided slightly. I still find myself looking around the TV for a mouse. Fortunately, during my travels today I came across a Barnes and Noble so I bought me a new book and that has helped with the pain.

Can’t wait to be home tomorrow to get back online myself (neither can his wife!).

Brightest Blessings :)
As dictated to the wife (Thank the Goddess he’ll be home tomorrow!)

It was a good drive to New York. Unfortunately, I forgot my laptop back in Maine so I am making this post by proxy, namely my wonderful wife.. say hi Sandy… (Hi everybody!) So I’m sitting in the hotel room missing Facebook and Farmville and email (and his wife if he knows what’s good for him.. hmmm).

In a way it’s kind of nice. In another way I feel like I’m in rehab… starting to get cold sweats and shakes. My hand keeps moving across the desk like it’s holding a mouse but I only have to hold out 2 more days.

Brightest Blessings :)
as dictated by the said wonderful wife (Goodnight everyone!)

Sunday at Home …

I slept in a little this morning … I think I caught Sandy’s head cold :-(

Still, I made us a nice lunch with rotisserie chicken ( I LOVE our rotisserie ! ) , carrots, corn, stuffing, potatoes and green beans. I can’t help it … I love to cook ….

now back to resting and fighting off the cold …

Brightest Blessings :-)

Today was a low-key day … Made a nice breakfast for Alta and Sandy … home fries, scrambled eggs with ham and cheese, milk-toast and popovers with butter and homemade strawberry jam :-)

Sandy has a cold so I spent most of the day making sure she was resting enough. Now we are just settling out for the night, probably going to watch some old episodes of “Land of The Lost” :-)

Brightest Blessings :-)

Today was a “driving in the rain” day, yet still better than a “driving in the snow and ice” day :-)

Tonight we had homemade chicken pie for supper and settling out and watching “Wipeout”

Welcome to the weekend !! :-)

Brightest Blessings :-)

Thursday dinner :-)

For supper I made baked brie wrapped in crescent dough with apple slices as an appetizer with some pear wine …

For the main course I made prime rib rubbed with butter, garlic, onion, basil, thyme and salt with au jus, mashed potatoes and homemade gravy and fresh carrots …

For dessert we had some wonderful fruit dipped in chocolate from Edible Arrangements.

It was a good day :-)

Brightest Blessings :-)

Back home again :-)

Today was a good day driving back home … The mechanics finally fixed my rig so I don’t have to use the “special’ truck anymore … Yaaa ! :-)

I took Sandy out for a nice Valentines dinner and now we are home again settling out for the night :-)

Brightest Blessings :-)

Today was a good driving day … I saw a barn owl watching traffic from some trees, saw a solid black squirrel running around and saw my first cardinal of the season :-)

I’m in my hotel in New Baltimore, NY for the night … home tomorrow :-)

It was 8 years ago today I asked Sandy to marry me and the past 8 years have been the best of my life :-)

Happy Valentines Day, Everyone :-)

Today was a good day … I’m sitting here in NY working on my next podcast episode and finishing some details on a book project.

I finished the last of my antibiotics today and I’m doing good … finally :-) I’m so ready for life to get back on a normal schedule :-)

time to settle out for the night :-)

Brightest Blessings :-)

Su-monday …

So it’s a little after 12:30 am on Monday and I thought I should get my Sunday post out :-) I fell asleep Sunday afternoon and totally forgot to write my blog but that’s OK … it probably won’t be the last time this year I have to make a Su-monday blog … or a Mo-tuesday, Tu-wednesday, We-thursday, etc. :-)

I’m just getting ready to head up to Augusta to pick up my truck and go to NY for the day .. I’ll post my Monday post tonight from my hotel in Fishkill :-)

Brightest Blessings :-)
